Position description: Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks prepare batters, meat dishes and vegetables. Cooks provide back up to the line during busy hours, including restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available.

Additional Description: Cooking and preparing food, washing dishes, and general cleaning in kitchen areas. Assisting wait staff by bussing tables, bringing food to customers and general cleaning in the dining room and bar area.

In the area: On days off, opportunities will be available to explore Northern Minnesota with other staff or employers. The restaurant is located in a small community that has a 5 lake chain, they may enjoy during their time off daily. Bicycles available. Trips to visit neighboring cities and attractions will also be made available.

Provided by Host: We provide trips to visit local government and meet with officials; tours of historical buildings. Visit landmarks and attractions in Northern Minnesota. Longer trips include visiting the city of Duluth which is located on Lake Superior, or visiting Minneapolis and enjoying the Mall of America, eating at a variety of restaurants...letting the students explore and taste our culture. We also provide biweekly into Hibbing for the students to buy supplies.
