Position description: Kitchen Helpers are responsible for washing and re-shelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook.

Additional Description: Available positions include 1) preparing food (such as salads and sandwiches) to order for customers and delivering this food to customers dining in the restaurant (food runner) 2) taking pizzas out of oven, cutting them, and either bringing them to customers dining in the restaurant or packing them to go.

In the area: Bar Harbor is a small coastal town on Mount Desert Island, Maine. The population swells considerably during the summer as there are many people who have summer homes. Maine is known as "Vacationland" and Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor is a favorite for vacationers. There are many hotels and restaurants as well as numerous activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, etc. Acadia National Park is one of the most beautiful parks in the United States.
