Position description: Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. This position can be physically demanding and you may be required to use chemical cleaning products that could contain allergens.

In the area: The AbbyCreek Inn is located in Winthrop, WA. As a tourist destination, guests come and stay for extended time periods at the Inn. With a pool, mini golf, horseshoes and lazy river floating to name a few things offered at the Inn. Students will have a chance to interact, assist and sometimes make friends while at work with guests. Bicycles are provided at the Inn for students to ride the short mile into town and to the events going on in the community (music festivals, races, parades etc.). With up to six foreign students working at the inn, cultural actives are provided a couple times a month with trips into town, movies, shopping and hiking.

Provided by Host: Every other week, students pick from a list of prearranged activities. Last year, students went on trips into the Cascade National Park, onto Native American Indian Reservations, shopping trip to Seattle, Washington's State Fair. Other incentive activies included a rodeo, shopping trips, renting a boat and going to parks.
