Position description: Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. This position can be physically demanding and you may be required to use chemical cleaning products.

Additional description: Essential duties & functions min. Three rooms per hour 40 plus hours per week Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Comply at all times with South Beach Resort standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up. Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways. Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed, if applicable. Restock housekeeping cleaning carts for next day's use. Replenish chemical bottles. Repeat all missing items from room such as irons/boards, hair dryers, coffee makers, to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor. Report any maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor. Responsible for cleanliness of air conditioner filters and hide-a-beds. Make-up all used roll-a-way beds and return them to the end closets along with any baby cribs. Dirty dishes need to be stacked in the appropriate closets. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the standards. Attend Daily Promise and department meetings as required by management. Perform other duties as requested by management, laundry, breakfast, and resort work. Plus, other jobs available i willing on the resort.  We will see when you get here how well you fit in and what other jobs you can qualify for. We have local businesses, like water park, petting zoo, restaurants, and fast food we work with for 2nd jobs. Every year we work together to help out students. There is a local shuttle service our students use to get around the area.
