Position description: Kitchen Helpers are responsible for washing and re-shelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook.

Additional Description: Must love cooking! Help prepping all the food for the main kitchen, such as cutting all the vegetables, meats, making soups, help in making banquet meals,etc.

In the area: Arizona has of a wide array of attractions, cultural activities and historical landmarks. Coconino National Forest's pleasant climate and mountainous landscape is conducive to spending time outdoors. There you can visit Northern Arizona University and sign-up to use their facilities; and you can engage in a wide variety of outdoor activities: golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding, skiing, and hunting are just a sampling of activities available. Our centralized location allows for an easy day's drive to many popular Arizona destinations including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, the Hopi Cultural Center, Sunset Crater, the Museum of Northern Arizona, Lowell Observatory, the Meteor Crater and the Flagstaff Arboretum. From a mule ride in the Grand Canyon to an off-road Jeep tour in Sedona to a tour of Jerome's Mining Museum, the endless activities in Northern Arizona appeal to those who appreciate all Arizona has to offer. With its close proximity to Flagstaff, the lodge is a wonderful home base as you explore Northern Arizona's most popular attractions. Please note that the Mormon Lake Lodge is a small remote community and is about 30 miles miles from the city of Flagstaff.
