Position description: Cashiers are responsible for displaying a professional, pleasant attitude to all customers. Cashiers scan customers selected items for purchase, provide purchase transactions, and ensure proper handling of American currency, debit and credit card purchases. This position requires excellent skills in English. This position will provide the opportunity to work directly with the public and gain skills in American customer service. Students may be expected to work in other areas of the store as directed by management.

Additional description: Work at an apparel and gift store in a beautiful beach resort area.  Main duties are operating till and folding/straightening merchandise, light restocking and tagging. Have been hiring international students for over 20 years with great success- past students all seem to have had good experiences and sometimes try to return for multiple seasons.  Area is not a large city, but is in a great beach area where thousands of tourists visit each year:)

In the area: Great beaches, will meet people from all over eastern U.S., local historic sites, lighthouses.
