Position description: Kitchen Helpers are responsible for washing and re-shelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook. The kitchen area at times may have high humidity and temperatures.

Additional Description: A Kitchen position may change daily.  A kitchen employee is responsible for any or all of the following; washing dishes, prepping, chopping and portioning food, using kitchen equipment, learning cooking duties or baking duties if asked, as well as mopping, emptying trash and recycle bins.  Every kitchen duty is the job of every kitchen employee.
