Position description: Hosts/hostesses are responsible for helping customers, seating them, taking their orders, using a cash register, and keeping the host station clean. You should also be prepared to help out where needed and in general help keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly.

Additional Description: The Grand Sierra is looking for energetic and customer service minded individuals to join the Food and Beverage team as a Cashier/Host. The Cashier/Host guarantees guests are served in a warm, accommodating and professional manner ensuring total guest satisfaction. Guarantee prompt, courteous and team minded service throughout the entire department and adhere to all Grand Sierra Resort standards. This role is highly visible and interacts with sponsors, vendors, clients, and GSR Management. Leads by example at all times and provides the highest level of customer service to all guests, vendors and clients.

In the area: Participants are encourage to visit the Nevada Museum of Arts, Rancho San Rafael Park, National Automobile Museum, Reno Arch Zoo, Nevada Discovery Museum & Nevada Historical Society

Provided by Host: Participants will gain exposure to American Culture during their Orientation and interactions with other team members. Participants will be able to attend events happening in Reno such as festivals and cultural activities including events at Grand Sierra Resort.
