Position description: Kitchen Helpers are responsible for washing and re-shelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook.

In the area: Our community has a lot of parks to enjoy. We are located on an island so watersports including kayaking are available. We have many events we celebrate up here on American holidays like Memorial Day, fourth of July and founders day, that have parades and such.

Provided by Host: There are parades for Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. We also encourage the students to visit Thomas Edison's birthplace, which is 35 minutes away.
