Position description: Food and Beverage Assistants are responsible for waiting on customers, answering customer questions, setting up and clearing tables, and assisting servers.

Additional Description: Cashier and Donut Maker: Customer Service positions. Requires all workers to be responsible for to make donuts and other baked goods, decorate donuts, and make sandwiches and coffee beverages. You will also interact with customers, take orders and use a cash register. You must be able to count money USD. You will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, which includes cleaning the counters, making sure that all work areas are neat and clean at all times, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning dishes and restrooms (cleaning toilets, sinks and floors) You must be friendly and very outgoing, with a good work ethic. This is a fast paced environment, you will be responsible for the above listed items and your duties will change daily depending on the needs of your manager. Work shifts: EARLY mornings (including shifts/schedules starting as early as 4:00am – 5:00am), Day, Night, Weekend.

In the area: Community = The Outer Banks has much to offer the small residential community and the 7 million visitors that visit each year. Home to lighthouses, the site of the Wright Brothers' first flight, the largest sand dunes on the East Coast, Aquariums and most of all the beach. VERY quiet in the spring season. • Location = Located off the coast of North Carolina on the East Coast • Weather = The spring can bring some cool nights in April and May but starting in June you will find warm sunny summer weather. Bring your bathing suit for your days off but don’t forget to bring a sweater for cool ocean breeze nights. Spring students should pack a light jacket and long pants.
