Position description: Prep Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking orders per recipe guidelines, preparing batters, slicing meats and vegetables. You will be in charge of restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available, and for cleaning of all workstations at the end of the day, including sweeping and mopping of floors.

Additional Description: Prepare food per company recipe and instruction. Should have good knife skills, be organized and clean. Must follow US food guidelines for safe food handling and preparing. Training is available, previous experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to work long hours on feet with some lifting.

In the area: Old Forge, NY is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. There are plenty of outdoor activities, including fishing, swimming, and hiking are very popular. The region is proud to be the home of various recreational facilities, among these is McCauley Mountain, which operates its chair lift during the summer and fall months providing a fantastic view of the region. Old Forge also has Enchanted Forest Water Safari (largest water park in NY) Adirondack Scenic Railroad, Old Forge Lake Cruises, Thendara Golf Club, The Arts Center of Old Forge, four miniature golf courses, a movie theater, public swimming beach, fitness center and let us not forget white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking in the spring, summer and fall. Sportsmen have ideal hunting for big and small game. The area is also known for its fine variety of quality restaurants, accommodations and retail specialty shops. New York City is approx. 5 hours away by train. The Adirondack Mountains is a must see. We own two restaurants including a unique Sky Bar and a full service fitness center providing many opportunities for our students. winter activities include skiing at McCauley mountain, located in Old forge, Ice Fishing, snow mobiling, cross country skiing and our town has a skating rink.
