Position description: Kitchen Helpers are responsible for washing and re-shelving dishware and glassware, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down food service tables, cleaning appliances, chopping vegetables, and assisting the cook. The kitchen area at times may have high humidity and temperatures.

Additional Description: We have the position set up to be a rotation between working as a dishwasher, a pantry cook and a server assistant in the dining room. The rate of pay is the same for each job.

In the area: La Becasse is located near Glen Lake and the Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is a National Park. The area is beautiful and attracts those who like to hike, bike, kayak or otherwise enjoy the water. We are located within walking distance of the beach and provide bikes for adventuring. We are close to Glen Arbor and Empire. Glen Arbor has fun shopping and has a grocery store. Empire has a library and bank. There is a surf shop in Empire where you can rent surf boards or stand up paddle boards to use on Lake Michigan. There is a beautiful bike trail that connects Empire and Glen Arbor. Traverse City is accessible by bus and has a vibrant shopping/dining/beach/movie scene.
