Position description: Waitstaff are responsible for waiting on customers, answering questions, writing down lunch and dinner orders, serving food and drinks, refilling water, dealing with U.S. currency, and possibly setting and clearing tables.

Additional Description: Looking for individual to wait tables but also be involved in helping wash dishes, do kitchen prep, serve ice cream, clean, water flowers, make pizzas and salads. You will learn how to do it all, :) We all work together to get the work done. We are a family run German Restaurant and ice cream shop and have been in business for 37 years. We also have a beer garden with live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer. We all work hard but also have lots of fun. In the area: Mercer is a small but beautiful town with over 200 lakes in the area. Our town has a big 4th of July parade and fireworks display and also a big festival called Loon Day in August. We have a beer garden and music venue that brings in hundreds of people, so there are lots of opportunities to meet new people every day. We also make a point of introducing all the work and travel kids to each other when they come to town. Last year there were 9 work and travel students working in town. Mercer townspeople are friendly and welcoming and really enjoy learning about different cultures.
