Position description: Campground Team Members are responsible for a wide range of duties including general maintenance, painting, grounds keeping, mowing the lawn, minor repairs, outdoor cleaning, laundry, moving furniture, cleaning camping cabins and restrooms, raking campsites. Additional duties could include kitchen/snack bar assistance and housekeeping.

From our warm smile and greetings for every guest to the moment we wave goodbye, our activities are singularly focused on ensuring families are having fun and making memories that last a lifetime. “Ambassadors of Fun” may fulfill any number of roles, offering a full daily complement of events, crafts and games, special theme-week activities, organized sports for all ages, daily world-famous frog hunts, movie-nights, as well as our old-fashioned bonfire, complete with entertainment and an appearance by our own bonfire mascot- “Toasty”. We lead exciting tubing trips on the picturesque Schroon River bordering our park, engage bandits with super-soakers in heated battle as we conduct wagon rides, shift through mining “rough” with kids on the search for that perfect gem, assist families as them embark on canoe/kayak excursions, prepare guests to zoom away on pedal carts, and play host as we safely escort guests in our comfortable shuttle to and from Lake George Village and other local attractions. Our associate are highly energetic, flexible and fun loving people who (don’t take themselves too seriously) enjoy working with children, families and one another. You will also be required to work various shifts, some morning/day shifts and some evening/night shifts. You must be willing to work weekends. Staff will also participate in wearing themed apparel such as hats and accessories.

Provided by Host: Pot luck dinners with entire staff; music festivals; specialty events; scheduled outings such as i.e. Six Flags, Shopping and much more. Students in the past have enjoyed organized trips such as the Rodeo, Ausable Chasm and the Adirondack Balloon Festival.
