Position description: Counter Helpers are responsible for interacting with and helping customers, preparing food, dealing with money, mopping floors, and making sure your area is clean. You should learn as much as you can about American currency before you arrive, as you will be handling money.

Additional Description: Counter person shall take orders from customers, cash them out and pack up food and beverages. They will also be responsible for light prep and cleaning.

In the area: Martha’s Vineyard is an island located about 10 miles off the southeast coast of Massachusetts (Cape Cod). The island is a popular summer vacation resort area, and it offers many beaches, shops, restaurants, and an active night life. You may recognize the island from the Jaws movies, as this is where they were filmed! But don’t worry, there are no sharks! You are in close proximity to Boston and of course Cape Cod, another summer resort area on the eastern ocean.
