Position description: Deli Workers are responsible for preparing hot and cold food and beverages, such as sandwiches, salads, grilled items, coffee, tea, etc. Deli workers will also be expected to assist with setup and cleanup at the beginning and/or end of the day, which includes cleaning and proper storage of food items.

Additional Description: Our deli is fast-paced and a fun place to work. We have our staff do a little bit of everything so students can learn how to talk to people and gain skills that can carry-over to other careers. We work a lot when it's busy and we pay overtime and tips. The tips can average around $5 per hour and they are shared tips. We like to take care of our staff because they take care of our business. We also take our students outside and enjoy the lakes and the trails that are around Grand Lake.

In the area: Most everything we do is outdoor recreation so students can enjoy the beautiful place we live. 2022 we went rafting on the Coloeado River and Grand Lake Town has a great 4th of July celebration with fire works and nearby Granby has a big 4th of July parade. We also try to go to a baseball game in Denver to see the Colorado Rockies.

Provided by Host: Grand Lake has a big 4th of July celebration, we also do hikes in Rocky Mt National Park and went to a Rockies Baseball game in Denver. We also go boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Bicycles are available to get around town. As a good team building activity we went rock climbing with Front Range Climbing Co.
